“Teeth in a day” is one of the most powerful phrases in implant marketing because it sounds like the entire treatment begins and ends on surgery day. But provisional does not mean final, and biological healing is still underway. Financially, the most important move is to force the quote to show the temporary and definitive phases separately.
The same-day bridge is a real prosthesis, not a magic shortcut
A fixed provisional has to be planned, fabricated, seated, adjusted and monitored. That work has a cost. The bridge must also be designed around the surgical plan and immediate postoperative conditions.
Some clinics bundle that cost into a package. Others list it separately. Neither approach is inherently better, but the patient should be able to see what happens if immediate loading is not possible on surgery day.
Ask what happens if you do not qualify for immediate loading
Immediate loading depends on clinical criteria and adequate primary stability. If those conditions are not met, a different temporary strategy may be safer. Before paying a nonrefundable package price, ask whether the financial terms change if the fixed same-day provisional cannot be delivered.
The answer should distinguish the treatment fee from the marketing promise. A contingency plan is part of a complete quote.
The final bridge is where many quotes become confusing
A low headline number may cover extractions, implants and a temporary bridge but exclude the final zirconia or long-term prosthesis. That is why two clinics can advertise dramatically different package prices while eventually arriving at similar totals.
Get the date, material and fee for the definitive prosthesis in writing. If the final bridge is “from” another amount, your package is not truly all-in.
Price the whole provisional period
Temporary bridges can need adjustment as swelling changes and the bite settles. Ask how many postoperative adjustments are included, what an emergency repair costs and whether the clinic will remake a provisional if it fractures during the healing phase.
